Recent labor market data has added to the complexity. The January jobs report came in stronger than anticipated, suggesting continued resilience in employment, which may further reduce urgency for rate cuts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Energy prices retreated slightly after a recent surge. U.S. benchmark crude slipped 34 cents to $66.06 per barrel, while Brent crude eased 36 cents to $71.30. Oil had jumped earlier in the week amid rising concerns of potential conflict between the United States and Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
