How the Rankings Were Decided
Power Retail said its scoring was weighted across four pillars: acquisition, conversion, fulfilment, and retention. The outlet also emphasized how effectively retailers connect online and in-store experiences.
Power Retail head of data David Fear said Kmart stood out by delivering across the full customer journey, pointing to features such as real-time store stock visibility online, app and wish list functionality, a strong returns policy, and a cross-channel loyalty program.
The assessment highlights a growing gap between retailers that offer seamless omnichannel convenience and those still building foundational digital and in-store integration as shoppers continue to shift habits.
